  1. LOL..that looks disgusting! That is not how you make spring rolls. I understand that you're TRYING to do your own take on Vietnamese Spring roll. But the rice noodles are not cooked, YOU'RE GOING TO GET SICK! after eating that. and you shouldn't be using soy sauce, It's HOISON SAUCE. The rice paper only need to be wet/soak for one second, it's get soft on it's own.

  2. Its actually not neccessary to leave it in the water for one minute, you just dunk it in the water for a second, take it out, move onto table or the area where your gonna make it, After applying all the food itll be rollable by then

  3. i like to place my rice paper on a damp kitchen towel. it absorbs the excess water and also helps to keep it stable while rolling. i have made these with filllings like avocado, pears, leftover chredded chicken, slices of roasted pork. you can really put anything you want in these! if i make it for lunch and don't want to dip, i will put the sauce on the noodles and then wrap it up. that way i get sauce with every bite. great job as usual!!!!love your channel

  4. and as you said u are allergic to mangoes so u'll use carrots.. but then i believe it could be allowed because mango isn't as crucial as the rice paper is. right? that's why…and certainly, since most of the things aren't available here in India, i get to experiment with cooking and that is what cooking is all about! it should surprise you each time you make something. 🙂

  5. you see,..RICE PAPER, it is the key ingrediant. obviously i can use roti or tortilla or some ordinary dough bread but then the whole recipe would change.
i was thinking if i could make a rice dough and make rotis out of it is it possible? what do u think?

  6. obviously it isn't rocket science, it's food. but you see, what i asked for…that is..RICE PAPER, it is the key ingrediant. obviously i can use roti or tortilla or some ordinary dough bread but then the whole recipe would change and i bet it wouldn't taste that good either.
i was thinking if i could make a rice dough and make rotis out of it. is it possible?? what do u think?

  7. zaloniii, I'd advise getting comfortable with online food ordering. If you live in an area without ethnic grocers, it's a lifesaver and will widen your experience of food.

I'm allergic to mango, so I'm going to substitute grated carrot for it. It will still look pretty!

Thank you, ladies, for another healthful, tasty recipe. You're great!
