  1. I'm a 2 week and going strong vegan newbie and I still have a fresh idea of 'queso' and how that tastes. Can I just say, wow! This sauce is boss!!! I am in love and I love even more that it's actually good for you! Nacho sauce that's healthy!? Slam dunk! I didn't have red bell peppers on hand so I swapped it for fresh tomatoes, and I didn't have almond butter so I used peanut butter…Amazing! I can't wait to try it again with what it's supposed to be because I'm sure it will be that much more amazing. Thank you for this recipe!

  2. A really good ingredient for stuff like this is aji amarillo chili powder. It's a pepper from South America that already tastes a lot like nacho cheese. It's a bit spicy but nothing ridiculous. When I make this recipe, I'll definitely add some. It can be had easily by ordering online.

  3. So delish! I made some subs out of necessity but who knows, they might have made it better. lol Either way this is making a regular appearance on my dinner table!

    Soaked raw cashews for the almond butter
    Chipotle chili powder for the chili spice
    Less reg paprika (ran out) and added small amount of smoked paprika

  4. My friend! Where have you been? Sam's club sells it as well. I found a recipe for a queso dip.

    Boil yellow potatoes, onions, carrots, boil them, then added to a blender and yeast and there you go. ☺️

  5. If you're not a fan of almond butter you can soak raw cashews in water for like 15 to 20 minutes and then drain them to use instead. I make a similar dip with the same ingredients. 👍

    Nut free Vegan Queso Recipe

    2 cups of cauliflower (steamed)
    2 large pieces of roasted red pepper from a jar (oil and sugar free)
    1 tbsp minced garlic
    1/4 c Lemon juice
    1 tbsp onion powder
    1/3 cup Nutritional Yeast
    1/4 c sunflower seeds
    2 tsp ACV
    1.5 tsp of white miso
    1 tsp of paprika
    2 tsp water
    1/3 tsp Chilli powder
    1 tsp chia seeds
    3 tbsp salsa (oil and sugar free)

    Blend until smooth.
