  1. Interesting way of doing this. 5 years in Tokyo and I'v never seen the yellow squash. If you might want to try something closer to Japanese yakiniku, combine the ingredients  for the marinade first and let them sit in the fridge for 30 minutes(+ 1 teaspoon honey}, after add to beef and let it sit in the fridge for minimum 4 H or overnight for best results. best of luck.
