  1. Hi Emmy, i know how keeping in good health helps to save money, I was wondering what types of things do you and your hubby do to keep fit and healthy while being frugal at the same time??? Love your chanel, hope to hear from you soon ๐Ÿคž

  2. I have just come across your channel recently and am so enjoying it. You think like I do: be frugal not to hoard but to be able to share. In today's society we often waste just because we can, and thereby view our abundance almost wth disdain rather than with gratitude. Someone once wisely said that every time we waste food we disrespect those that go hungry. So glad you are calling us to be more mindful of what we have. Bless you!

  3. We are blessed to have many farms around my area that sell their produce and also produce from the Amish. Last time we went I bought corn, peaches, onions, delicata squash. I canned 10 pints of peaches and froze enough to make a large peach cobbler for the holidays. Also froze some corn. Going again today to buy more corn for eating, some to give the kids and also to freeze in half ears and kernels. My green beans are fizzling out so hopefully they still have green beans. I'd love to can a couple batches. Also will get apples for applesauce. It really is fulfilling to stock up and have a full pantry. Love your channel.

  4. I went to our local dollar tree.got a bag of meow mix tender centers$4.8 pack of irish spring icy blast bar soap,$4 150 coffee filters,$1.40 kitty litter,10 pounds for$4.didnt have the 20 pound one i normally get.
Big bottle of tide odor rescue fresh scent,$9.big bottle of dawn apple scented dish soap,$3.2 packs foil cupcake liner papers,$1.35each.

  5. I've spent way too much of our budget. I've got to get things for hubby's birthday in a few weeks. Other than the I'm going to try to do no spend until next month.
We intended to make broth from the turkey bones, but it just didn't happen. I did make a small batch of apple butter so that was a win!

  6. Another amazing video…thatโ€™s how I make my cacciatore but I use chic thighs mostly, they are a lot tenderer. And we put it over noodles. Thanks Emmy…โค๏ธ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ

  7. Nice haul! Chicken dinner looks delicious! OMG! I love โค๏ธ Dixie! I mentioned before we have a dog named Dixie also , but we also have a border collie retriever mix named Molly that looks like your Dixie! ๐Ÿ˜„

  8. I hear you about food manufacturers reducing sizes and charging the same – or even more! It's happening here in the UK, too. This afternoon, I was looking at wipes that used to come in packs of 52, but they've been reduced to packs of 40, and the size of each item has been reduced as well. They think we don't notice, it's an insult to our intelligence!

  9. My husband and I love sauces made like this and than I add different meats and spices but we love tomatoes and onions and any other vegetables I find in the fridge I make spaghetti noodles or rice or potato for dinner my grandkids donโ€™t like when I put chunky vegetables in sauce so we pasta sauce in a jar for them

  10. I love the fine noodles, best way to have them. Cook in boiling water, drain put in a bowl, add an egg, mix until the egg is cooked, mix in some butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, yuuumy. I nearly died when my (Italian) mother fed this to my son when he first went on solids, he loved it. Then my mother told me she was feeding that pasta to us when we were about 8 or 9 months old, as she said โ€œ it didnโ€™t kill you, did it?โ€
No mama, it didnโ€™t kill us.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  11. Great prices. I have to start going to shoprite instead of Hannaford. I know, I say that every time you show a SR haul. I also get no salt added or lightly salted products. I don't get chips though, because I would eat the whole bag in one sitting…no matter how big or small the bag. lol Another great recipe too. I like everything you make. Especially crockpot recipes. I love to throw everything in early in the day and not have to think about what to have for dinner. You do not look frazzled at all. I should look so frazzled. lol Have a great week! And did you save chicken for the furbaby?

  12. Emmy, I'm super excited to make this for my poultry-eating partner. I'm veg but he LOVES this type of dish so I appreciate the ease. Another great haul, I'd eat those donuts in a sec, not a thing here in the Pacific Northwest. Take care lady!

  13. Hi, Emmy and Paul. Iโ€™ve been trying out new recipes and chicken cacciatore looks like another good one to try. I have all the ingredients except peppers (which I donโ€™t like) and fresh basil (I have pesto). I even have a yellow crookneck my sister gave me from her garden.

  14. Oh my goodness!!! Apple Cider donuts!!! You haven't lived until you have tried an apple cider donut fresh from the grease from Mama Crockett's. Mama Crocketts is a food truck (ok converted camping trailer) based in Lynchburg VA that travels around Sourthern Virgnia and Northern North Carolina. They're in a different location each time they pop up and you need to follow their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mamacrocketts/ to find out when and where they will be operating. We've drven 50 miles to meet up with them and scoop up a dozen or two. Love love love apple cider donuts! Thanks Emmy for the joy you bring with each video.
