  1. First, can you look any more frikken' gorgeous?! Last week we were planning our girls only (no damn men!) night at my condo for Saturday and nobody could agree on crap for the menu! Thank gawd for Google! We ran across your video, and, I swear Carolyn,  you had five women captivated when that beef chuck hit the pan! So, we spent most of Saturday cooking this recipe along with your Habanero wings and the lemon wings. Lots of spicy, delicious finger food, accompanied by way too much wine, toss in hours of all girl talk, and we had one of the best times of sharing and nibbling and sipping. And we owe it all to you! You have a subscriber for life, lady….

  3. I've noticed the yellow corn tortillas are thinner and crisp up much quicker than the white. I usually use the yellow for hard taco shells and taquitos and the white for enchiladas 🙂

  5. ummm, just like my momma used to make them. Hell, I can still smell the kitchen.

    FYI, its not a bad idea to add a small sprinkle of sea salt to them the moment they come out of the frying pan.
