  2. SOUTH AFRICANS always use BEER, not water, to douse the flames on a BRAAI (SA BBQ).  Also, I highly recommend MARINATING for at least 1 – 2 HOURS, and better still overnight in the fridge. If refrigerated option is used, toss a couple of times, and after removing from the fridge, allow to reach room temperature before grilling. 
    This is much easier prepared and left to marinate in a NO FUSS, NO MESS, EASY TO TURN sealed plastic bag.

In my travels around the world I have tried many different types of food.  I saw this in 3 different countries and finally stepped up to try it.  African Peri Peri Chicken.  It can be quite spicy, but I like that.  You have to give this a try.  There is a place in many countries called Nando’s.  If you have one, you are one of the lucky few.  Wish we had it in the USA.
