  1. Kässpätzle are basically Spätzle with cheese. You can add more ingredients, but that is basically it :'D Greetings from a very hungry German!

  2. In Austria we eat the schnitzel without Sauce and rather with some lemon juice on top and Rice or potato salad, you have to try this, too. And many Austrians like the schnitzel with ketchup. And you have to look for a "Geschnetzeltes"-Recipe I love to eat that with Spätzle 🙂

Spätzle are typical for my region and so is Schnitzel 🙂 you should search for a recipe for Kässpätzle (the german equivalent to Mac 'N Cheese but with a twist) and for Schwäbischer Rostbraten (Swabian Roast Steak) i bet you would love them! take care <3

  4. A dumpling is different for each culture, the first thing that comes to mind when I hear dumpling is the little mounds of bread-like stuff you cook in a stew (like chicken and dumplings, they have NO spices in them), NOT the Chinese variety. EVERY culture has its idea of what a dumpling is.
