    I'm a fatty so I threw my broccoli into some left over sauce in a pan and caramelized it before using it to top the rice.

I usually cook Italian food but last night I made for my family your Peking pork, chicken satay, shrimp egg roll & your recipe for fried rice but used rice noodles instead.   3. This looks like a better recipe than the ones I have seen on the internet, because you use the usual ingredients and MORE to make it tastier. However, when I have seen it made it is cooked with onions at the end. This must just be your Vietnamese influence coming in, which is great too.
