  1. I love Pecan Pie, i will give your recipe a go!

Wanna share my grandma's coffee cake:
    For 8 people, you need:
    50ml of milk
    30g of soluble instant coffee
    4 eggs
    150g of powdered sugar
    1 tablespoon of water
    125g of butter
    115g of flour
    1 pinch of salt

    Preparation:
    1. Preheat your oven to 150 ° C
    2. Heat the milk and coffee in a saucepan until the coffee is dissolved. Let cool.
    3. Separate whites from yolks.
    4. Whisk the yolks with the sugar and water until the mixture lightness.
    5. Melt the butter and add it to the mixture.
    6. Then sift in the flour and salt. Mix.
    7. Pour the milk little by little without stopping whipping.
    8. Whisk the egg whites until soft peaks. Stir in a slowly the whisked egg whites into the mixture while slightly crushing the whites so that there are still pieces with a hand whisk.
    9. Pour the preparation into a buttered mold.
    10. Bake 45 minutes.
    11. your cake should be nice brown on top but feel shakey when shaken.

Before unmolding, leave at least 2 hours in the refrigerator to cool.
The cake is better after staying cool.
