I love your recipes and cooked a few of them but for health/diet reasons i can't eat most of the ingredients you use so i was extra thrilled when i found this video because parsnips are among the few things i can eat. Up until recently i never even had parsnips (they're not that popular where i live) but they're brilliant. A nice combination is to add one or two parsnips to a sweet potato mash. Lifts the sweet potatoes to a whole new level. Thanks Chef John Reply can anyone tell me the taste of parsnips pls ty Reply i still can't find the anchovy and garlic aioli recipe 🙁 Could you please show us how to make it Chef John? Reply Yesss!!! My sister just gave me parsnips. I'm happy my favorite chef has already made a video for me! Reply I adore parsnips! Can't wait to try this recipe! Reply Thank you Chef. Reply "…how you went crazy over parsnips. That's not a great story." Love your humour! 😀 Reply Caramelized parsnips pair well with turkey. Very Thanksgiving-esque. Also good in a stew or mashed. What Samwise said about potatoes ("beat 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew") also applies to parsnips. So flavorful! And a nice texture too. Reply Fuck topato. Snarpips are the tish. Reply his voice is horrendously annoying Reply Subbed at parsnip joke lol Reply My dad used to roast parsnips in the drippings of a roast chicken or shoulder of beef. You just turn them over in the fat as it renders out of the meat, and let it roast there. So delicious. A really underrated vegetable. Reply no cayenne pepper… WTF?!?! Unsubbed Reply chef john u are my cinema Reply I still don't think that Chef John is a "tosser". Brits should get this. Reply hello everybody Reply parsnip = snipped parsley Reply I searched this because of TED….😆😆😆😆😆😆 Reply @ Ash Conlon Kind of like a "Bob Ross" of cooking 😀 Reply I'm going to try this with wild parsnips. Thanks for the video Reply Should have saved those skins and fried them up for parsnip chips! They are absolutely delicious! Reply why dont you mix the lemon juice, oil, salt, pepper in a small bowl fully and THEN coat it on the parsnip…isnt that much easier? Reply Thumbs up for that fail dipping 😀 Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
