  2. My family & I are vegetarian & we have many vegetarian friends. So I replaced chicken with cauliflower florets when I made this for ppl & so many people asked for the recepis. But many of them couldn't be bothered to make it themselves, when I told them that you've gotta double fry it & stuff after mixing it in the batter. True, it's a lot of work, but it does taste so good.

  3. @Maangchi What can I use as a substitute for rice syrup and apple vinegar? Can I use honey instead of rice syrup? Is apple vinegar in your recipe the same as apple cider vinegar? What amounts should I put in the recipe if I used honey and apple cider vinegar? Thank you so much!

  4. Hey Maangchi! I wanted to cook it tomorrow, but I can't eat gluten. Can I substitute the flour in the batter with gluten free flour? It's made out of corn starch, corn flour and locust bean gum. 🙂
