I followed plant based (Nurtitionfacts.org), oatmeal every morning blueberries, flax seeds, almond milk …plus huge salad with veggies and at 71, a woman, thyroid issues I still cannot get 15 pounds off. I am going to Dr Berg Keto diet – meat all organic though you can substitute beans – and when I get the weight off will slowly go back to plant based. I loved organic rice and even love sweet potatoes etc… BUT for some of us we may be Insulin resistant and plant based only does will not get the weight off – very important to not paint brush plant based works for everyone – it does not.
