  1. La vera carbonara non si fa cosi!! E si usa il guanciale in Italia!!! Non serve olio in padella perché il guanciale ha già grassi al suo interno che rilascia durante la cottura… 👎

    However, in Rome (where the origins of this pasta are) they would kill you for doing this… 🙂
    Romans are proud with their recipes. They wouldn't accept the use of pancetta instead of guanciola and they wouldn't accept garlic..
    But guanciola is very difficult to find outside of italy.. And way more expensive..
