  1. This looks so yummy!!! I cant wait to make it!!! I watch your videos almost every day! you are super sweet and are a wonderful cook!!! Thanks for everything 🙂

  2. thank you for this recipe, i made it today and wow i absolutely loved it. Next time i would try using a hand blended to achieve a creamy texture ….. thank you Laura, keep the videos coming 🙂

  3. To be honest this is NOT a soup!. It looks more like a goulash. Sorry for being picky, but this nothing like any potato soup I have ever seen or eaten. On a scale of 1-5? This recipe, IMHO deserves a 1. A true Potato Soup is thick & creamy. NO MACARONI is involved. Potato Soup is a peasants' dish that will feed an hungry family. I am very sorry for those who think this is the way a Traditional Potato Soup should be made. Trust the Italians to take a great soup, and make it into something that doesn't even remotely look like the original version of it.

  4. Is this Potato Soup or Macaroni Soup??  North American Potato Soup Excludes the Pasta. Just saying. It also is very much more like a SOUP!! Not a Goulash!!!

  5. Hi how much rice did u use i want to make this recipe right now but i have jasmine rice and no pasta just not sure how much rice i should add also did you cover it with a lid when u added rice

  6. Hi Laura,

I'm also a college student on a strict budget and I decided to make this today because I had all of the ingredients. It was fantastic! I used rice instead of noodles and I also put in some fresh green beans that I brought on the market for sale. Very hearty, filling, and tastes good the next day too. Thanks for the recipes! As a poor college student, these are very helpful.
