The difference is we used our signature marinara sauce and marsala wine. Everything else is pretty much the same. I'm going to have to try it this way. Reply havent made this for a couple years…looks damn good!! Reply I'm going to try this today with rabbit. Thanks for the upload. Reply Looks awesome, trying it tonight! Reply the chicken breast is too dry, and the green pepper is over bearing. also that is too much flour. Reply I just found out that my grandfather is Italian.Family is from Sicily and Palermo..I have been looking for recipes to get intertwined with my Italian roots. My father is Spanish Italian. Lol I have the Spanish part down pact but I'm clueless on the Italian side. This looks very good!! Especially when you poured the juice on the noodles. Do you have any more recipes..preferably Italian?? Reply if I don't have wine, I sub with a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, and water. Reply I like that very much. Reply I will try I know some Italian recipe Reply Solid style …. like … 🙂 Reply Beautifully done sir!!! Great chef skills!!! Reply Definitely need to make cause it's one of my favorite dishes. Reply I like this recipe because it looks so easy. Can I use Sherry wine. Reply Awesome recipe !!! thanks !!!!! Reply Looks good sir, I am a vegeratian who owns a restaurant in San Francisco and doing this catering gig with the cacciatore. Doing a trial tonight. Like your approach but i am gonna put some preserve myer lemon for brightness. Reply This handsome Chef is awsome!! Reply This looks so good I am def going to make, what can I sub for the wine? Reply Looks delicious! Would regular cooking wine suffice vs a fancy white wine? Reply lose some weight, you breathing heavily, like you about to get heart attack. Reply Looks delicious! I'm going to try this. Is the tomato sauce optional? And can I use water or flavored broth instead of white wine ? Reply My favorite part of the chicken is the breast to.I'm making this tomorrow. It looks easy to make, and looks so good.I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks for the video. Reply Great videos. Are you a veteran? Reply I tried this for lunch!! Yummy! Are you married??? Reply I thought it was quite tasty, and I'm a chef. Reply thank you for precutting your vegetables, it saved a lot of time on the video. Looks great! Reply I assume I can simply swap the white wine for some red wine without changing anything else? Also, what if I try not to use anything canned or pre-prepared, can I replace the can of tomato sauce with, say, 2 more italian tomatoes and some added seasoning? Reply This was pretty awesome! I added some black olives and, instead of fresh tomatoes, used some canned Italian plum tomatoes. Other than that, followed your recipe. If it makes the wife happy, and it did, you KNOW life is good! Thanks! Reply On deck for tonight! I know you've probably talked about it before and, if so, a link would be cool, but talk a bit about the water ionizer and maybe why I should consider one? Reply I'm sure it's delicious, but it's definitely not authentically Italian. Reply Damned respectable dish. Nice job. Haven't had that in so many year. Mom used to cook a great version of that. Thanks for the vid. Reply Hey . I just loved your dish , it was so good , im jus 14 and this is the first dish i made and it came awsome . Thankz and looking forward to more awsome videos And remember all those people who put nasty coments are jealous of you , bye Reply Hi, my religion prohibited me to use wine. Can you suggest any substitute for the wine? Thanks. Reply Bald Chef, I prepared this meal this past Sat. My family was really impressed. They didnt believe I had cooked it, thank you for the recipe. 🙂 if you add some peas, and olives it adds a kick to it. I added cilantro instead of the basil, it stil tasted GOOD. Once again thank you. Reply I don't understand why some people have to be so nasty in their comments on people's videos that they took their time to make, edit and load to youtube. If you don't like what you see simply go on to the next video. As Julia Child always said, "A Recipe Is Not Written In Stone!" They are a guide and you can do with them as you like. If you don't like the vids then make your own. 🙂 Looks good to me Glen! Reply Chicken Crapitorre is more like it. Reply Oh a little advise Glen, dont feed the trolls. Thats what they want. Boot em. ; o) Reply Beautiful Glen and TY for sharing. Reply I do not know if I asked before or not, but could you also use parsley instead of the basil? Reply Pip you are right, this is the true way I Italians eat. But for the American way including my Italian restaurants Chicken, Veal, ect is often served with pasta. Hence, most of my viewers are English speaking I go with the way things are done here. This Chicken Cacciatore recipe was served with pasta so once again you are intellectually , and culturally correct. Thanks for your great information and incite for are American viewers. Reply in italy we don't eat chicken with linguini. NEVER put a second course with a first course… this is like basic italian cousine… Reply You're in no position to challenge my cooking expertise. Do you even cook? So you saw a cooking show and can name drop some chefs names, good for you. Is their recipe for Chicken Cacciatore better than mine , I have no idea, and could care less. Cooking is an art form and what work for me may not be to your liking. Go watch Chef Boyardee, Jamie Oliver, or Gordon Ramsey and enjoy. I love what I do and many people like this recipe. If you have nothing nice to say, go away because your done here. Reply @The Bald Chef Sorry but you just butchered that recipe, as Gordon Ramsey would say. Not sure if you're really a chef or just like to call your self one, but from looking at this video I highly doubt you're one. Sorry for my bluntness. Jamie Oliver did a nice video how to make a perfect Italian recipe for Hunter's Chicken, google for it, or look for it on the youtube Reply Nathan you are in for a great Italian treat when you get about to cooking this Chicken Cacciatore recipe. It's easy to make and I think you will find the results outstanding. Please get back to me with your review. Thanks for the view and comment.
