  1. How To Make Pork Siomai

    ½ kilo ground pork

    1 medium sized onion, minced

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    2 tsp oyster sauce

    ½ tsp soy sauce

    ½ tsp liquid seasoning

    1 tsp salt

    1 tsp ground black pepper

    1 tsp sugar

    1 egg

    1 pack wonton wrapper


    1. In a bowl combine ground pork, onion, garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, liquid seasoning, salt, pepper, sugar and egg. Mix until well combined.

    2. Put a tablespoon of the mixture at the center of the wonton wrapper. Gather sides of the wrapper to form a cup around the meat mixture. Repeat process until you finish all the mixture.

    3. Brush bottom of the steamer with cooking oil to prevent siomai from sticking. Arrange siomai in the steamer. Steam for 25-30 minutes over low-medium heat.

    4. Serve with Soy sauce and calamansi(toyomansi) as dipping sauce. Add chili garlic sauce if available.
