  1. Here's a question….beef is cooked at 160* mine is always fully cooked in four hours on low, so, do I leave it in for the required eight hours and risk that the roast is over cooked? I'm afraid it will be as tough as eating a baseball glove?

  2. I've never seen anybody cut carrots so slow LOL.. and I think I would use more than just three carrots and also you do not need to peel red potatoes just cut them up.

  3. Too much salt! And it's called braising before you pop it in the slow cooker. The onions should not be added until close to being done or they will be snot. Same with celery. Carrots and potatoes should be put on bottom with the meat on top. 45 min before meal time add onions and such.

  4. Trying this recipe right now as we speak won't be done until midnight so I will have to have it tomorrow but so far so good! Preparing it in my Ninja Cooking System slow cooker mode! Seems so simple, I am sure it will come out great!

  5. I use red potatoes and don't bother peeling them just wash them real good.. I tried this recipe once using onion soup mix and I did not like the way it turned out it was too much onion taste because you already put onions in it.. and I find it gives it a better taste if you use and ice chicken broth instead of beef and it works good if you cover the roast in garlic powder and brown sugar and it comes out tasting amazing
