  1. Hey guys. Just a helpful tip. If you dont have a blow torch (which i gather many of you dont), get a steel spoon and a lighter heat the spoon with the lighter and then gently glide over the sugar. It will give the same result. Of course you will have to repeat the process more than once but it will work.

  2. Half of a vanilla bean or 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
    2 cups of heavy cream

    3 egg yolks
    1/4 or 1/3 cup of sugar (depending on how sweet you want it to be)

    Sprinkle on sugar, as much as you want. Caramelize the sugar with a blow torch and let it cool for about 10-15 minutes

  3. Forgot that these cooking shows always have the fucking cooked version of everything so I ruined the whole recipe by pouring unscalded cream to "temper" the eggs. Great. The idea is easy but a single mistake makes it taste like shit. Dont try this unless you're very prepared.

  4. I love this recipe it comes out perfect everytime Ofcourse not all of us dont have these fancy torches you can raise the level of ur oven rack turn the oven on broil then place them in and babysit them until they turn the color you want then remove
