  1. I just made this for my mother-in-law who's not into "foreign spices", so I had to let go of the garam massala. It was still so stupendous that there'es going to be a repeat tomorrow, this time without the mother-in-law and with de garam massala. 🙂

  2. This was so fantastic, flavorful, and hearty that I made it twice this week! I used a little more green peas for extra thickness, and I had the fenugreek leaves and used those. So good! Thank you!

  3. This recipe is SUPER delicious!! I recommend doubling it if you're serving 4 people. I used coconut milk rather than heavy cream and it was still splendid. I was missing fenugreek unfortunately and only had powdered cumin, but it was still amazing. Definitely making this one again. Thank you Manjula!

  4. You could make it with coconut milk. It's obviously plant based rather than animal based fat. It also tastes delicious. This is what I used in the recipe and it was creamy & delicious. I used a small dollop of sour cream as garnish, which you can purchase in a fat free version.
