  1. This was my second time baking in my whole life, and I followed this recipe and my brownies turned out sooooooooo amazing. Honestly the best brownies I have ever had in my life, and I couldnt believe I made this!!! All props to you Liv!! Thank you so much!!!

  2. So this is Liv's exact recipe but with metric conversion! I did this only because I'm from England and I don't really have any cup measurements (i thought it might be useful for other people who tend to use the metric system) and I'm too lazy to go and buy any, haha. I hope this is useful 🙂 I hope these are right measurements too://

    BROWNIES:
105g of all-purpose flour (plain flour)
140g buckwheat flour (for GF option, omit plain/all-purpose flour and use 245g buckwheat flour)
    50g of cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda (bicarbonate of soda)
    300g sugar
180ml vegetable oil / melted coconut oil
    120ml non-dairy milk
    1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp egg replacer or chia seeds + 3 tbsp water
50g chocolate chips (dairy free optional)

    CHOCOLATE FROSTING:
    1 tbsp vegan butter, softened
    2-3 tbsp cocoa powder
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 tsp almond milk
100g powdered sugar (icing sugar) (you may need more or less, add an extra 2 tbsp at a time until you get the consistency you prefer)

Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix together egg replacer and water. Set aside. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder and baking soda. In a separate mixing bowl, combine sugar, oil, non-dairy milk, vanilla and egg replacer. Add dry mixture to the wet and stir to form a batter. Pour into an 8×8 parchment-lined baking tray and bake for 28 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before icing. Meanwhile, using a hand mixer, mix all frosting ingredients (add the powdered sugar a bit at a time until smooth and combined).

  3. I'm supposed to make these for tomorrow but I am not seeing you add in any of the chocolate chips? Are they not necessary ? I'd initially assumed them being dairy free was optional – not that they all together were optional…. I will try them without and pray they are ok!♡

  4. OK, I just made these.. but they turned out as a big dry cake. I don't know why, the only thing I did differently maybe was use brown sugar. Someone tell me what I can make out of dry brownies, I am supposed to bring them to Thanksgiving tomrrow, LOL!

  5. I love your videos and your pictures, I feel like they really show your authenticity and positivity 💕 it would be amazing to win that camera, i have been wanting to up my food photography game… I was wondering: what do you use to edit your pictures/videos? Also, could you do a video explaining how to start a blog? And really random: what did you study in uni? 🙂

  6. These look so good! I'm going to have to pick up some egg replacer the next time at Superstore (I usually use flax eggs/applesauce to veganize recipes). I also entered the give away! 😀🇨🇦🍁🍁
