  1. This is such a great recipe! I wonder though if I can make an adjustment to allow it to keep just a little longer. It may be the way I am storing it but mine tends to dry out at the edges the next day. Maybe add more oil? Also, I wonder if this recipe would work with just bread flour to make a white sandwich bread? Has anyone tried? Thanks you for the video!!

  2. Great video! I tried this recipe and it makes a beautiful loaf. But it stuck to the tin (even tho it was a nonstick tin), ripped the bottom off the bread when I took it out. I'm so disappointed!! So heads up to anyone, wipe a teensy bit of oil in your tin before you put the dough in to prove. If the bottom is soft when it's finished you can take the loaf out of the tin and put it back in the oven for 10 mins to crisp up 👍🏼🙂

  3. Hello, recipe looks great! TFS! Would love to give it a go… but I have a quick question- is it possible to make this recipe without the egg (or substitute it with something else) and still have the bread be soft? I'm trying to avoid consuming eggs… Thanks so much! Appreciate your help.

  7. Reluctant YouTube star!! I made 2 of your bread recipes and my family loved them. Your instructions are so simple and clear; it would be hard to mess it up. Have you ever baked with Einkorn flour? I would love to see a future bread video using Einkorn. Enjoy retirement (but not for too long)… love from Louisiana

  8. A tip I have to share with everyone. Homemade bread is notoriously hard to slice thin. Here is a simple trick that I learned turn the loaf upside down and start slicing from the bottom towards the top. You won't believe it .it is so easy

  9. I made it and it turned out great! My dough was very sticky and I needed more than 1/4 cup of additional bread flour at the end to be able to get it out of the mixer and onto the counter. My loaf took about 1 hour to rise. But the 30 minutes cooking time was spot on, and the bread is delicious.
