I have to say that after hurricane Maria I tried to maintain a vegetarian diet but I couldn't since lot of the food were meat can and I need to eat. No power electricity allows me to buy fresh food but now I'm trying to return to vegetarian, your channel always gives me the best ideas. That chickpeas avocado sandwich looks delicious and definitely will try it soon. Reply I loooove avocado toast with black beans, salsa, & cilantro 😁 idk why that was relevant, but felt like commenting lmao Reply Love the tofu scramble in the microwave! Reply where can i buy smoked tofu? Reply When YouTube tells you you've got a new video but it's not new… either way this is the best morning everrrrrrrr ❤️🍓🍓🍓👯♀️👯♀️ Reply I'm not a fan of Avocado, could I try mashing peas with chickpeas? Reply Thiiissss looooks booommbb Reply Could do with some more meat Reply The best line 3.05 ‘this is great for people that live indoors!’ Lol!!! Nice recipes though. Reply By the way , just to let you know , for some reasons your channel popped up on my channel two months ago and you were the one made me be a vegan just overnight seriously , your recipes are so effortless that it made me really easy to follow , thanks for such an inspiration Reply Where do you get the smoked tofu or what brand may I ask plz ? Reply yummm i'm actually OBSESSED with smoked tofu, i use it straight from the packet as ham or fry very thin slices and it's the perfect bacon! Reply Thank you for not doing over night oats!! I am so over that! Reply It's dinner time where I am, but I want one of those breakfast muffins RIGHT NOW. Such a great vid, Rose; thanks so much for sharing! 😀 Reply SAVOURY YUSSS Reply Cool.. I think I will try tofu scramble.. Reply Pure brilliance, Rose! I had never thought of making tofu scramble in the microwave! Or adding beans to avocado toast!!! OMG. Another pro tip: If you want to add more flavor/veggies to your tofu without chopping and sautéing, stir in some premade salsa! Seriously so easy. Reply the first time I've felt like I could actually do all the recipes. bravo! Reply THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I will be making all of these! Reply SO helpful!! Reply I thought I was the only one who loves a savory breakfast but there you are…..and so happy to find you Rosa! This morning I had chickpea miso soup with wakame, carrots and green onions and tofu. Yummmmmm! I have been enjoying your videos and learning a lot from them so I want to just say thank you so much for the fun and instructional videos….and for being you. So happy to know you! (Vegan for 1.5 years…69 yrs old) sincerely, Maxine. Reply for me the best scrambled tofu is with zucchini ! i LOVE it! Reply fun easy fresh yay thank you Reply Pretty much everyday I have a toasted English muffin with veganaise, garlic powder, pepper, tomato and greens, sometimes I just have an English muffin mayo and salsa. Reply That top is CUTE AF. WHERE IS IT FROM Reply Omg…these are my fav breakfasts made into vegan versions…thank you so much. I gotta try these 🙂 Reply I am not vegan but I would eat all of these breakfasts. Thank you for the ideas. Reply What do you guys think about raising chickens for eggs? (I know that this is a vegan channel, but I'm curious about the ethics of it.) What if you free range them, don't harvest them for meat, and essentially keep them as pets that you happen to be able to benefit from? I mean, it's not like milk where the cow has to be raped/impregnated every year to produce. This is just a chicken's menstrual cycle–that you can eat Reply So I'm a "semi-vegan"/"semi-vegetarian." And I get a lot a hate from full time omnivores and vegans. I eat animal products 1-3 meals per week. I have mixed feelings on the ethics of eating meat, strong feelings about how meat eating impacts climate change, and a strong taste for animal products. So this is how I reconcile those feelings–reducing rather than eliminating. What do you all think? Reply So good!!! Looks like my week so far lol. Honestly this is just how I was brought up. No social media at the time. Just parents who preferred good real food minus animal crap. Ya.. I cook for meat eaters, a vegetarian and a vegan.. but THESE kind of recipes are WAY more satisfying. I see how my family sees my love of food and is slowly joining me. 😉 Reply What is the brand of baked beans that you use? I can’t seem to find any without “natural flavouring” Reply Hi Rose! I love how you bulk up your meals with fiber/protein rich ingredients like tofu, beans, whole grain, etc. it’s very relatable to my meals and only think that keeps me full. Reply Always great ideas Rose! Reply Where do you get smoked tofu! Reply Yum!!looks super good 😋 Reply try putting tomatoes on the avocado toast 😍 Reply Awesome ideas as usual! Will definitely have to try that tofu tip next time we have it! Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
