  1. I tried tonight… the taste from the box feels to me like some kind of concentrated chicken stock, flour with an extra dash of thyme and curry powder. nice discovery…I feel like the flavor could be enhanced if you replace the water with chicken stock and add the ketchup/soy/jam at the very start…maybe something to try next :)

  2. Is the onion flavor very onion like? Or does the curry drown it out? I hate the taste of onion but I'm okay with it if it's not very prevalent

  3. Hello, thank you for this recipe! I just made it and it tasted awesome!! I used mild Golden Curry 100gr, and I used it all in 1 sauce pan. Anyway, thank you!

  4. I love this recipe so much! And it's inspired me to add things such as the ketchup and such. I reference this each time I cook curry, and I feel a little more confident each time. That, and it really does taste like a the curry I remember in Japan. Thank you so much for this recipe! :D

  5. I am an Indian and honestly, the craving I get for the Japanese curry is sometimes so intense. Its such a different & beautiful flavour.. one of my favorite curries ever!

  6. It's a lot like the Bangladeshi and Indian curry. The difference is just that Bangladeshi use a lot of spices but no curry leaves(I don't know its real name)but Indians use curry leaves with almost the same spices.

  7. I was so confused… "korean rice"?! I checked the title and description again, but I did not click on the wrong video. At the end my confusion was finally resolved 😉 By the way, I think apricot jam is a perfect ingredient to enhance the flavor of the curry. Here in Germany, one of the most popular fast food is "curry sausage" which is grilled sausage with a tomato-based, ketchup-like curry sauce. I often prepare a sauce myself and I also look for a fruity and sweet flavor by adding fruit juice or jam. I'll try your recipe now,
