  1. Recipe is simple and good. Makes Only enough wash to get four pieces of Texas toast soaked tho. I would also tweak the amount of cinnamon. Maybe 1/2 teaspoon or a 3rd teaspoon. The bite of cinnamon is what "makes" the French toast in my opinion!

  2. When I make mine and place it on my plate, the middle of the bread begins to sink. It’s like a crater in the bread. Why is that? Am I not leaving it in the pan long enough or not using the vanilla extract? Help please.
