  1. Delicious recipe!
I double the sugar because I thought it might be bland lol, but I didn't need to because I could taste the small extra of sweetness.
I add fillings and made them into buns.
Thank you for your recipe. How do you suggest to store them? Because I like to make more than 1 batch.

  2. Followed this recipe today. Loved it! Although it was a bit salty for me 🙂 but still it is very soft and elastic. I'll probably use a bit less salt and i will make siopao tomorrow. 🙂 Thank you!

  3. Hello from Kansas. I want to start off by saying I love your channel. I’m in the market to buy a bamboo steamer and was wondering if you could point me in the right direction of good brands? Oh and do I need liners for it? If so do I buy disposable or reusable? With or without perforations? That kind of thing. Thanks for your input. Have a wonderful day.

  4. She said, I steamed my buns…😆. When I was younger (the 80s) I watched a karate movie of a poor man (actor) stealing some steam buns….they beat him senseless. But I have ALWAYS wish to experience those buns and him, he was a handsome monk.

  5. I made these buns and stuff them with red bean filling. This recipe is easy to follow, the ratio of liquid and flour makes it very easy to work with. I realised I shouldn't move the shaped buns once they have risen because they would deflate and turn out dense. But most of them turn out very fluffy and delicious! Somehow I think these buns taste even better when you steam them again after freezing it.
    Thanks again seonkyoung!
