  1. I went to the grocery store, got all of the ingredients but couldn't find, for the life of me, this "vegetal broth". I figured high fructose corn syrup was a good substitute.

    Actually, the whole recipe seems a bit strange.
    I wonder if the carbonation makes it happen somehow?
    I do know I won't be using a bottle of Veuve Clicquot for the test.
