  1. Just made the Garlic Shrimp & Quinoa recipe with my husband. He is a very picky eater, so it has been very challenging to find meals that we both can enjoy.   2. Its been a year that this has been up and i never new anything about quinoa other than its a super food and i recently have been on a diet and exercise and the Turkey Taco Skillet dish is amazing. Whats not to like! I cant wait to try the other two dishes.

  3. Yummy! Made the taco skillet tonight. It was great! Added sour cream and lettuce in bowl with the skillet mixture. Then crumbled taco chips on top for added crunch. I had no black beans too put into this but it was still very good. Thank you

  4. 2 and a half cups of chicken broth for the Mexican inspired dish is too much… It becomes soupy. I'd say 2 cups or even just 1 and a half cups would have been sufficient because the canned diced tomatoes already add a lot of liquid. Still yummy though.

  5. We made the taco dish tonight and I feel like 2.5 cups of broth is too much. When I make this again I will cut out a half cup of broth because the can of tomatoes has a lot of liquid to it.. I love this channel, thank you so much for sharing these recipes with us!

I'm making the turkey quinoa one right now (it's almost done, just have to add the cheese) and OMGSH! it's SOOO GOOD!!! i added a little more cumin and chill powder because i love those spices :)! other than that this was so good and will probably be a part of my new go-to recipes!! :D!! thanks!!!

  8. Omg. So im trying this diet thing in alot of people say Quinoa is healthy I decided to try the Turkey Quinoa Taco skillet. OH MY GOSH IM IN LOVE WITH Quinoa now. It was really good thank you. Its like a Mexican dish. Instead of Chili powder I used paprika and I'm not a fan of minced garlic so I used Garlic powder which it was still tasty. Don't take my word for it. Try it yourself πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜˜πŸ˜‹

  9. The amount of butter and cheese per serving is not something to be concerned about unless you are on a restricted diet. They add flavor, and do have nutrients of their own. The key is a balance, serving size, and the amount of calories ingested during the day. Without a good flavor profile, and too severe of a food restriction, prevent people from staying on a reducing diet for long. Flavor, and good texture with a good variety (unless SPECIFICALLY restricted because a medical condition) defeats the purpose.
    Too many foods are labeled as "bad" when it is only the excess that is bad.

  11. Tonight we made the quinoa taco skillet. This was so good and so easy. We topped it with sour cream, cilantro, and tortilla chips. It was filling but light. The recipe made enough for us to have leftovers for another dinner. Definitely will be making this again.

  12. I made the first recipe last night and it came out so so good!! I've returned to this video to make the turkey quinoa tonight and I'm so excited! And to all the people that are complaining about these not being healthy, just leave out whatever you think is unhealthy or substitute it. I only used 1/2 cup of ricotta cheese in the first one and didn't top it with Parmesan and it still came out awesome!
