  1. PERFECT QUINOA EVERY TIME:
    1. rinse quinoa before cooking
    2. bring 2 cups of water to a boil, add 1 cup of quinoa and sprinkle of sea salt
    3. bring up to simmer, put on lid, LOWER HEAT TO LOW
    4. cook without removing lid for 12-14 minutes
    5. when all liquid is gone, and little "tails" appear on quinoa, shut off heat and keep lid on for 10 more minutes. This last bit of steaming is the key to not burning the bottom.

I really loved your lunch ideas, but I'm Italian and I can tell u that the pasta and sauce thing didn't come out good simply because it was cooked in the wrong way?…you should have had let the pasta get on with the tomato sauce (not tomato) in the pan, and you don't need cheese in if you wanted to do it the Italian way…??…P.S. I love your videos
